This is precisely why insurance companies tend to price their premiums for their female clients a lot lower. Yes, car insurance for women is definitely cheaper to begin with. Moreover, so many insurance companies would not hesitate to make you an offer, especially if they see that you are a safe and reliable prospect. But just because an insurance company gives you a sizzling offer does not mean that you should take it on right away. Here are some tips that would definitely come handy when you are in the process of choosing which insurance company to do business with.

First, it is important for you to determine just what extent of coverage you really need. This way, you would have an idea of how much you would need to pay for your monthly premiums. Roughly half of your monthly payment would be allotted to liability coverage. Your liability rates would be dependent on your vehicle usage and your driving record. The more responsible you use your vehicle and the cleaner your driving record, then the lower your premiums would be.

The other half of your bill would cover expenses related to damages or loss of your vehicle. This other half would also include collision and comprehensive coverage. Your car’s make, model, and year of manufacture would affect this portion of your premium. More modern cars typically cost more to insure.

Second, make sure to shop around. As mentioned above, do not go for the first offer that comes your way. Make sure to collect as many offers as you can so that you can weigh each of them out. There will always be differences in the offers of different insurance companies, even if their packages are priced just the same. These minute differences could spell huge savings in the long run so better analyze them carefully and thoroughly.

Third, try to increase your deductible. Higher deductibles may mean higher monthly premiums to make. But if you weigh how much money you can save off annually, then you just might want to increase your deductible. Just be sure you do have the funds to pay for the additional expenses.

COVENTRY: A man pushed a grocery cart filled with merchandise worth $313 out of a Manchester Road grocery store June 24. When a store employee confronted him, he left the cart in the parking lot and drove off in a vehicle.

Deputies were called to a Manchester Road bar June 28 when two male friends were reportedly fighting over a woman. One man sustained a facial injury and was transported to Barberton Citizens Hospital. He declined prosecution.

On July 1, deputies investigated a report filed by a North Bender Avenue woman who said she paid money to a contractor for work he never completed. Deputies called him at a hotel where he was staying, and he provided false information to them. He was arrested for obstructing official business and taken to the Summit County Jail.

Deputies went to a Lakota Avenue residence July 3 to check on the welfare of an 8-year-old, after the child’s uncle requested the check. Officers found a lump on the child’s face and open wounds on her legs. She told deputies her mother slammed her head into a table and deputies determined the wounds were from flea bites that had not been treated. Deputies assisted in getting the child released to her uncle so she could join her siblings on vacation, and spoke with a representative from a county children’s services agency. The following day, her mother was arrested for domestic violence and child endangering and taken to the Summit County Jail.
