Cheap Car Insurance for Under 21s
by lukeking
Temp car insurance is growing in popularity. More and more people are finding it to be a cheap, easy way of covering themselves for a short period of time.
Owning a car can be very useful, for some people it might even be a necessity. However, the insurance is expensive and once you have decided on a cover provider you are tied into a contract for a year. For some people this might be better than any alternative as once it is sorted they don’t have to think about it again for the next 12 months. But what do you do if you want to share the driving on holiday or insure a car for a day so you can drive it home from the dealership? This is where Temp Car Insurance comes in.
Although it is not offered by every car insurance company, temp car insurance is becoming more and more popular. It offers a cheap and flexible way to insure a driver for any amount of time between a day and six months. You don’t have to obligate yourself for a whole year and can drive away the same day you set up the policy. All three types of cover available with normal car insurance policies can be purchased as temp insurance. The former is the most basic, while fully comprehensive cover is pretty self-explanatory. Just like annual vehicle cover, you get to decide the level of excess you want and can apply for breakdown cover too. Just like normal car insurance, you can travel to Europe using temp car insurance policies. If you want to go away, you only have to arrange the policy with the provider and you will be covered immediately.
Temp car insurance is also useful for students who need to borrow their parents’ cars during the holiday. As they are not living with their parents for half the year, it would not be cost-effective to cover them with an annual policy. Short-term car insurance is also great if you have an emergency as you are covered the same day you arrange the policy.
Temp car insurance has helped out millions of people so far and is a great, flexible way of ensuring that you are protected.

Governor Schwarzenegger:
I am writing as just one face of the State of California married to a State worker. I would like to share my story with you. I follow the budgets talks and negotiations through the Sacramento Bee’s coverage and analysis; I am saddened your employees, your most competitive asset, are so de-valued and I’m frustrated by the inertia and politicking that has become synonymous with California.
The cumulative eighteen months has been very difficult for us. We cut back where we could, planted front and back yard summer and winter vegetable gardens in order to save money at the grocery store. I have been able to get us by on my salary because I work for a great company allowing me to telecommute to save money on gas and allowing me overtime. I have been the primary earner for the past 18 months, the sole person paying the mortgage, property taxes, homeowner’s insurance, car insurance, and veterinary bills.
